November is here and its all about the Big Bull Redfish in Pensacola Bay and the bite is red hot.   They are coming in to do there fall spawn and they are on top feeding on the bait and it is a fantastic site to see hundreds of them thrashing on top.

Sept 2017:  Fall Temps bring the Redfish and Speckled Trout in the Bay areas to feed before it gets cold this winter.  One of my favorite times of the year to catch nice Redfish on the grass flats.  I like to call them Pumpkin Reds they are a dark copper pumpkin color with a great appetite to eat just about anything you throw at them.  Bite should only get better as it gets into October. Then in November is all about the monster Bull Redfish in the deeper bays.

August is here and the Red Snappers, Kings, Spanish, and False Albacores have been biting like crazy in the mornings. FWC just opened Triggerfish which has been closed all year. The season for Gray triggerfish will be open in Gulf of Mexico state waters Sept. 1 through 4, Sept. 9 and 10, Oct. 7 and 8, and Oct. 14 and 15 for recreational harvest. During this season opening, the Gulf state waters minimum size limit is 14 inches fork length and the daily bag limit is two per person, per day.

July is in the books and the near shore and inshore bite has been really hot just like the temps outside.  Red Snappers, Kings, Spanish, Bonita, and Amberjacks in the Gulf on the Near shore wrecks and by the mouth of the pass have been fantastic in the morning hours.   Inshore the Redfish, Black Drums, Jacks, Spanish and Speckled Trout during the sunset hours has been excellent.  Get out there and make some memories that last a lifetime.  Great times and tight lines.
